Magnetic Susceptibility of the Al-Ni-REM and Al-Ni-Co-REM Alloys

The results of measurement of the magnetic susceptibility of the Al_(86)Ni_8La_6, Al_(86)Ni_8Ce_6, Al_(87)Ni_6Y_5, Al_(86)Ni_6Co_2Gd_4Y_2, and Al_(86)Ni_6Co_2Gd_4Tb_2 alloys in a wide temperature range (T= 290-1900 K) are presented. The effect of the time exposure at different temperatures on the studied property has been investigated. Results have been discussed under the assumption about the existence of microinclusions of Al_2REM associates in these alloys.
