When a reviewer of an autobiography has had a long acquaintance with the author, the review will not - possibly cannot - be entirely neutral. The reviewer will inevitably find parts of the autobiography more interesting. I was taught by Professor N.N. Greenwood at the University of Leeds 40 years aao and have had more recent dealinqs with him.
