A Schema of a Decision Support System to Determine Basketball Zone Defense Patterns Using a Fuzzy Expert System

摘要

This paper proposes a schema of a decision support system to determine basketball zone defense patterns based on a fuzzy expert system. This paper introduces the original ideas for the proposed schema and the background of the basketball defense strategies. This paper also discusses how to select the input and output attributes for the fuzzy expert system based on the domain knowledge from the basketball coaches. Some possible fuzzy if-then rules are finally proposed in this paper.
