Associate Professor Stuart Batten FRACI CChem is the recipient of the RACI NSW Branch 2009 Olle Prize for his book Coordination polymers: Design, analysis and application (Royal Society of Chemistry, 2008) co-authored with David Turner and Suzanne Neville. The book provides, for the first time, a uniquely broad overview of all the major facets of modern coordination polymer science in the one place. It combines thorough chapters on nets and interpenetration with wide-ranging surveys of transition metal and lanthanoid coordination polymers and their properties (including magnetism, porosity, non-linear optical activity and catalysis).
