A Methodology for building a Dataset to Assess Intrusion Detection Systems in Wireless Networks

this paper proposes building a dataset to be used in evaluation of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). We collected traffic in a real wireless network, processed such data and then evaluated IDS classification techniques with our processed data. Actually, we built a dataset to assess classification and pattern recognition standards. The outcome confirms that the built dataset may be deployed satisfactorily in evaluations IDS in wireless scenarios.
