Advanced Training of Human Resources within the Leonardo da Vinci Project 'CELGAS' - e-Learning International Education Initiatives in Teaching of Gas Engineering

The long-distance learning programme "CELGAS", developed as a Leonardo da Vinci project is aimed at higher education graduates, contributing to the objective of enhancing life-long learning possibilities and is realised in co-operation by universities and research centres from Poland, Germany, Slovakia and Romania. Each of the main partners has the task of preparing one of the five modules that compose the programme, but is involved, to some extent, also in other modules. In this regard, the Romanian partner, represented by the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, is in charge of the module Quality and Human Resources Management in Gas Lidustry. The study programme will be effectively unfolded starting with November 2006. Thus, an overview of the "CELGAS" programme is given here, with special emphasis on the module WP3.5, prepared by the Romanian partner.
