My adopted greenhouse

Nearly twenty years ago the Sisters of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart, located here in Delmont, PA, were celebrating an anniversary at our local church. I was helping them load several kettledrums into their van. I mentioned to Sr. Margaret Ann thatI was an avid gardener. That was all I had to say to start a wonderful relationship with the nuns at Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children. Sr. Margaret Ann asked me if I would be able to help her father Joseph Calcutta in the greenhouse at the school. She told me when they would he planting, and I told her that I would be there.
