What a month!!! We lost a week with the ice storm and then it did get hectic. A water pipe froze and burst in the greenhouse while the power was out, and we lost several large plants and a grapefruit tree. I comforted myself with the thought they weregetting too large to handle anyway. We were lucky in that 95% of the cacti had been moved to Tennessee. A few of the larger ones that were located at the east end of the greenhouse were OK, as were the geraniums, the bay tree, both the lime and orange trees and a 66-year old Norfolk Pine that fe 14' tall and has to bend a little during the winter. My uncle bought it when it was about 6" tall.
