摘要

THE Iditarod sled dog race is a grueling race over more than 1,000 miles of Alaskan wilderness that takes place each spring, attracting mushers of all ages and their sled dog teams. For one Cornell vet student, racing in the Iditarod became a realitylast year when she took her own team of dogs over the trail. Molly Yazwinski, a first-year vet student at Cornell, grew up on a dairy farm in western Massachusetts listening to her mother's stories of mushing dogs.
