摘要

Twenty five genotypes of pigeonpea were evaluated in a randomized block design during kharif 2007, 2008 and 2009 at Agricultural Research Station, Tandur. The variances owing to pooled deviation were significant for days to 50 percent flowering, daysto maturity, number of pods per plant, 100-seed weight and seed yield indicating the involvement of non-linear component for the differences in the stability among genotypes. Six genotypes viz., PSRS 11916, PSRS 11923, PSRS 11939, PSRS 11960, PSRS 11951and PSRS 11969 were stable for seed yield as indicated by high seed yield with non significant linear (bi) and non-linear components (s2di) of deviation. The genotypes, PSRS 11939, PSRS 11941, PSRS 11942, PSRS 11956 and PSRS 11972 showed high mean valueswith bi>1 and non significant s2di for number of pods per plant. The performance of PSRS 11969 was unpredictable due to its significant deviation from regression.
