摘要

The Trichoderma spp. play an important role as a bio-control agent in plant disease management. They can survive in soil for longer time and. the survival ability can be increased by creating suitable soil environment. The laboratory study was undertaken to know the fungicidal effects on the survival of Trichoderma spp. at Department of Plant Pathology, MPAU, Rahuri. The wild strain of antagonists T. viride, T. harziamum, T. hamatum and T. koningii were multiplied on maize bran sand mixture and mixed thoroughly in well sieved sterilized and unsterilized garden soil separately. The initial inoculum density of the antagonist added to soil was 3.8 X 10~5 conidia / g of maize bran preparations.
