1997 National Convention Proposes Big Decisions

Delegates will decide the fate of the proposed one-herdbook system, vote on registry fee increases and elect five directors, a new president and vice president at the 1997 Holstein Association USA convention, June 25 - 28 in Grand Rapids, ML MICHIGAN'S 3000 MILES OF shoreline on Lakes Michigan, Huron, Superior and Erie and its rich Holstein history of renown bulls and cows constitute the 1997 Holstein Association USA Convention theme "Great Lakes - Great Cows." This year's convention, June 25 -28 inGrand Rapids, ML, will be the sixth National Convention hosted by Michigan and the third one headquartered at the historic, beautifully-restored Amway Grand Plaza hotel. A modern tower section in the Grand Plaza will make it possible to accommodate all adult and junior convention attendees in one hotel.
