Chemists from the ARC Centre of Excellence for Free Radical Chemistry and Biotechnology at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences have designed an efficient, environmentally friendly method to produce opiate-derived medications using free radical chemistry and friendly old stainless steel to obtain more opiate.
