RACI Division of Electrochemistry medals

The 2011 Alan Bond Medal, a new medal of the Electrochemistry Division, has been awarded to Dr Jie Zhang of Monash University. The Alan Bond Medal has been established in recognition of the enormous contribution Alan has made to Australian electrochemistry, in particular his mentoring of many electrochemists.The inaugural recipient, Dr Jie Zhang, was mentored by Alan. He is currently an ARC Future Fellow at Monash University, where he still works closely with Alan. He did his undergraduate degree in Fuzhou University, China, before going to Warwick University, UK.
