Degusa-Huls AG have developed an improved process for the one-stage resalting and purification of oligopeptides. The company was able to obtain purified oligopeptide acetates that were pratically chloride-free by purifying chloride-free by purifying the oligopeptide, in the form of its hydrochloride salt by liquid chromatography, using an acetate-containing solvent.
