Ethnopharmacology and development of New Drugs

摘要

Ethnopharmacology is based on the interdisciplinary collaboration,excellent lines of communication between all the different contributing sciences are a prerequisite for ethnopharmacological progress.Ethnopharmacology is complementary to bio-prospecting,which uses an approach less focused on indigenous plant use.This approach must be developed in close collaboration with researchers in pharmacy practice that will lead to a better understanding of the use of phyto-pharmaceuticals and other OTC(over the counter)preparation and Ayurvedic medicine.
