Inaugural UQ team competes at US genetic engineering competition

A team of nine students from various fields including microbiology, genetics, pharmacology, toxicology and chemical engineering seized the opportunity to compete in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition held at MIT in the US in November last year as the inaugural University of Queensland team.
