What do chemists do outside their pursuit of chemistry? I recall meeting with the famous playwright David Williamson.(a former chemist at Swinburne) at an opera performance in Adelaide and we discussed our mutual overlap in chemistry, and how life's variables had led us in diverse directions, for him as playwright, author and producer, for me as government S&T advisor, diplomat, innovation author, but much less known in my real escape as a painter.
