The Dispersal Sale of the Gomer Hereford herd held at Hereford Livestock Market last September for Tim & Alice Amery and Family, Llandeilo, Carmarthen met with a very solid trade throughout.Sale topper came by the way of the 41/2 year old cow, Gomer Precious Pansy F30, along with her 5 month old heifer calf who sold for 4,300 gns. purchased by breeder Mrs. Leslie Jackson, Sparkwood Herefords, Tring, Hertfordshire. "Precious Pansy" was by the very successful Show bull, Mara Chieftain, one of the founder herd sires for the Gomer herd.
