Calzaghe is the National Poll Show Champion

Blakelaw 1 Calzaghe, owned by Miss H Whittakerfrom Halifax inWest Yorkshire was judged Supreme Hereford Champion by judge Mr Tony Whittaker (no relation!) at the National Poll Show in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. Senior & Grand Male Champion, four year old "Calzaghe" was expertly exhibited by free-lance showman Andrew Hughes and bred by a proud on-looker at the Show Mr Jack Henry. He is out of Blakelaw 1 Yvonne and by Aldersley 1 Dwight from David Deaville, Derbyshire. Blakelaw 1 Calzaghe has been a very successful show bull during the past two years, so it was befitting that he was crowned Breed Champion. To complete a wonderful day for Miss Heather Whittaker, her beloved "Calzaghe" was later awarded the trophy for Poll Bull of the Year 2012.A trophy awarded to the Poll Bull gaining the most points from around the shows during the previous 12 months.
