No boos in the Ayre as Bilbow bags the National Calf Show Championship!

The National Calf Show Supreme and Reserve Supreme Championships were taken by two animals from LR & AM Ayre, Frenchstone Herefords, South Molton, Exeter. The success for the Ayre family justified the long trip north to Agri-Expo at Borderway Mart, Carlisle. Judge and Breed President, John McMordie, made Grand & Intermediate Male Champion Frenchstone P. 1 Bilbow his Supreme, pipping stable-mate Frenchstone P. 1 Boo into Reserve. Ten month old "Bilbow" a stylish young bull caught the Judge's eye withhis conformation and good locomotion. He is out of Frenchstone P. 1 Snowy and by successful sire Solpoll 1 Dynamite, the former thrice Royal Ulster Show Champion. Frenchstone P. 1 Bilbow is backed up by good performance figures with 200, 400 & 600 day weights in the top 10% of the Breed.
