Who's keeping up with the Jones' at the Royal Welsh Show

After a miserable start to the Show Season weather-wise it was a scorcher at this year's Royal Welsh Show. An excellent turnout of Herefords at the Show placed before Judge, Bernard Rimmer the Society's Vice President, starting with 5 bulls forward inthe Senior Class.and 13 heifers forward in the final Heifer Class.Taking Supreme Grand Male and Senior Male Championship was the two year old bull, Solpoll 1 Gilbert, exhibited by D.E., E.D. & A.L. Jones of Newtown, Powys and bred by J. & W. McMordie of County Down, Northern Ireland. The Reserve Supreme Championship went to the second prize Senior Bull, Church Preen Galileo, bred & exhibited by A.R. Owen of Church Stretton, Shropshire.
