BASF CUTS BACK PS PRODUCTION IN EUROPE

From the beginning of October 2008, BASF has begun to reduce production of PS in Europe by 25%. The reason for this step is the diminished demand for the standard plastic PS, a development that the comp-nay ascribes to the current economic downturn.
