The Korean Institute of Machinery and Materials(KIMM),in conjunction with Innocom,USA,has developed a high-pressure hydrogen container made of carbon fibre reinforced epoxy,for use in fuel cell-powered automobiles.The result of a two-year joint research and development programme,the FRP container has already been approved for use by the US Department of Transportation,and will be commercialized in 2007,the companies state.
