Traditional Hereford Breeders' Club

Following an enquiry from Australia back in July 2012, the Traditional Hereford Club has been hard at work this year to provide embryos for an interesting and exciting new project down under. The enquiry came from a member of the Hall family, whose ancestors were influential in the breeding of Hereford cattle in the 1800s and widely used sons of the significant bull 'Cotmore', whose blood can be found in every Traditional Hereford in existence today. Peter Hall of Brisbane aims to reestablish the Cotmore herd using specific genetics from the UK and a consignment of 100 embryos has now arrived in Australia.
