Publicity order made in sixth corporate manslaughter case

The sixth company to be successfully prosecuted for corporate manslaughter has been ordered to publicise the conviction by the sentencing judge. This is only the second time that a publicity order has been imposed in a corporate manslaughter case. Malcolm Hinton died when he was crushed by a road sweeper, while carrying out repairs to the machine on 6 March 2012 at Riddings Farm, near Basingstoke. He had inadvertently removed a hydraulic hose, which caused the back of the truck to fall on him.
