摘要

The results obtained in ICPCh RAS during years 1978-1996 investigating of critical phenomena in boiling liquids on a solid surface are presented. Our approach is based on main ideas of macrokinetics, combustion theory, and synergetics. Extensionof the approach to processes of boiling makes it possible to describe alteration dynamics of boiling regime, to reveal different types of nonuniform steady states (domain structures), to describe dynamics of initial stages of film boiling mode, todiscover an autowave decay of a metastable liquid, and to suggest a new approach to the description of rewetting. Our results suggest that the widely adopted boiling curve shape is in error.
