Ideas for the proposed blacklist compensation scheme have been branded a "charade" and an effort to gag affected workers by campaigners. Plans by eight major builders to compensate workers excluded due to union activism or for raising safety concerns were revealed in October, with the announcement of the Construction Workers Compensation Scheme (TCWCS).
