A SELF-EMPLOYED contractor has been fined ?20,000 after an employee died when he fell through a fragile roof four years ago at a plant owned by papermaker Tullis Russell. Boyd Lamont, who traded at the time as Special Access Inspection, was charged after Thomas Sturrock was killed when he fell through a warehouse roof at the papermaker's site in Markinch, Fife.
