Jason Anker: A Fall from Height

IF you can measure the effectiveness of a short film as a safety tool by how well it gets its message across, then this DVD must rank as one of the most brutally effective ever. It tells the story of Jason Anker who, aged 24, went to work with his father-in-law on a roofing job in January 1993. He ascended a ladder, despite noticing that it wasn't properly tied off, and it toppled over. He fell only three metres, but Anker suffered severe and irreversible spinal damage, leaving him confined to a wheelchair.
