2005 COULD weli have been the death knell for the ladder: the Work at Height (WAH) Regulations brought about industry-wide confusion as to whether or not ladders could be used legally. Overtime, the Regulations have been explained and the popularity of ladders has risen again. But while they were out of favour, a number of other access products populated the market and became preferred alternatives. Yes, the ladder has evolved.
