AN INTERNATIONAL logistics firm that did not learn from previous runaway vehicle incidents has landed a ?326,000 penalty after a driver was crushed to death when a lorry pushed him against another freight vehicle. Russell Homer died in 2010 at Nightfreight Distribution in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, when the lorry he had been driving rolled forward while he was attaching a tractor unit to its trailer.
