Mobile phone users at greater risk of brain tumour, says study

Mobile phone users run a greater risk of suffering a brain tumour, a study by Professor Kjell Hansson Mild of the Swedish National Institute for Working Life and Professor Lennart Hardell of Orebro University Hospital has concluded. The Swedish research forms the largest ever study into mobile phone use and the risk of brain tumours. The researchers compared over 1600 patients diagnosed with a brain tumour between 1997 and June 2000 in central Sweden with an equally large control group.
