I am writing to you about a minor mistake in our paper titled "An enhanced two-step floating catchment area (E2SFCA) method for measuring spatial accessibility to primary care physicians" Health and Place 15 (2009) 1100-1107. On page 1103,5th line under "Result" section, the values for weight 2 according to Gaussian function should be (1.00,0.42,0.03). It was reported in the paper as (1.00,0.42,0.09). A reader pointed this out to me as he was asking me how the weight was calculated.However, we did use 0.09 in the calculation. The results and the weights reported are consistent, but weight 2 is not strictly following Gaussian function. It may change the pattern slightly if we use 0.03, but would not change our conclusion. I am sorry about this mistake.
