A universal system was developed for injection feed of feedstock and air into an oxidation reactor which ensures its efficient operation in a wide range(15-40 m~3/h)of output in feedstock:production of oxidized asphalts of improved quality,reduced specific air flow and oxygen content in oxidation gases.The analysis of the results of introducing an injection oxidation reactor[1]in the 19/5 asphalt unit at Ryazan'Oil Refining Co(RNPK ZAO)showed that the optimum range of output in vacuum resid is 25-35 m~3/h.The specific flow of air increases during the seasonal reduction in flow of asphalts and consequently the reduction in the output of the reactor in feedstock to 20 m~3/h and more,indicating a decrease in their load with respect to the working streams-feedstock and air.The temperature conditions of operation of the reactor become less stable.
