摘要

Results of measurements of heat transfer coefficients in gas quenching systems of cold chamberswithour loads have already been published earlier. This papers shows results of measurements underdifferent quenching conditions carried out in different furnaces with "hot" and "cold" chambers usingvarious load sizes. The positive influence of rising pressure and helium gas on the heat transfercoefficient is shown as well as the predominantly negative influence of increasing load size. Theinfluence of furnace design and furnace size is also discussed.
