Two chamber vacuum furnace for flexible heat treatment

Oxide-free surfaces require glow processes, which can be executed under inert gas or in vacuum. Now also small heat treatment shops and research institutes with small heat treatment volume have the possibility to harden their parts economically under inert gas or vacuum glowing in the flexible and modular expandable vacuum furnace presented in this article.
