Petro-Canada Posts C$47 Million Q1 Loss

Integrated oil company Petro-Canada announced Apr. 28 it lost C$47 million (U.S. $38.6 million) in the first quarter, compared to earnings of C$1.1 billion in the same quarter 2008."Our East Coast Canada, international and downstream business units all contributed reasonable cash flow even with lower commodity prices and cracking margins," said President and CEO Ron Brenneman.
