摘要

Two trends stood out during a panel discussion of worldwide refining capacity at the U.S. EIA conference last week: demand for transportation fuels is shrinking in the U.S. and Europe while growing in Asia and the Middle East, and diesel is taking a greater share of the demand over gasoline. "Large grassroots refineries will be built, but will be built abroad," said Joe Gorder, executive vice president of marketing and supply for Valero.
