India Wants ONGC to Double Capacity of Planned Refinery

The government of India has asked state Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) to double the capacity of a planned refinery at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh to 15 million tons per year. Last month, India asked ONGC to reconsider building the planned 7.5 million ton per year refinery, which the company previously had shelved.
