Power Ministry plans additional power generation

New Delhi:In a major move,the Power Ministry has decided to add over 76,000 MW of fresh generation capacity during the next five years.The total capacity addition during 2002-07 is likely to be around 23,245 MW as against a target of 41,110 MW.
