New Delhi:Ensuring the availability of fertilisers at a macro level is not enough,instead the industry should take the responsibility of ensuring that the fertilisers should reach various dealers/sub-dealers and through them to the end consumers,viz.,the farmers in the most equitable way,said Ram Vilas Paswan,Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers and Steel,while reviewing the availability of de-controlled phosphatic and potassic fertilizers in a especially convened meeting of all manufacturers/importers recently.The meeting was attended by Secretary(Fertilizers),Chairman,Fertilizer Association of India and concerned officials of the Department of Fertilizers.
