Tata Power,Siemens Project Ventures to bid for power projects

Mumbai: Tata Power Company Ltd has entered into an agreement with Germany-based Siemens Project Ventures to jointly bid for ultra mega power projects.As per the agreement the two companies will jointly participate in the tariff-based bidding process for selecting developers for the Sasan (Madhya Pradesh) and Mundra (Gujarat) projects under the Power Ministry's UMPP initiative.Besides,the two companies will also co-operate in the development and implementation of the projects.
