A critical appraisal of the clinical trial on spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) and pediatric cervicogenic headache.

We commend Borusiak and colleagues1 with their contribution to the scientific literature on the use of manual therapy for pediatric headaches. Their findings have several implications for clinical practice and future research in the field of manual therapy for headache. Evidence based medicine has been defined as "integrating individual clinical expertise with the best available external clinical evidence from systematic research."2 In this regard, our clinical experience is incongruent with the findings of Borusiak and colleagues1 and thus provide the basis of our treatise.
