摘要

This paper presents the main numerical approaches based on the Boundary Element Method developed by the authors in the last years for the computational design of grounding systems of electrical installations in uniform and layered soils. The feasibility of the numerical formulations is demonstrated with the grounding analysis of several cases and solving a practical problem of transferred earth voltages due a railway spur.
