Renovation ensures future flood control

Flood protection and water level management are critical in the Netherlands where up to 60% of the country is below sea level. Pumping stations play a vital role in preventing polders from becoming swamped and ongoing maintenance is essential. In one station 70-year-old pumps needed replacing and BBA Pumps stepped in to install temporary modern equipment capable of handling environmental challenges now and in the future.
