Disease causing organisms are prolific in poultry producing facilities around the world, and managing them is both a science and an art. Vaccination does not provide a 100% guarantee that a disease will be prevented from causing losses. In most situations, vaccination serves as a means to minimise the economic impacts of certain diseases.
