Pipelines or transmission lines as defined in 49 CFR Part 195.2 (US Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49 - Transportation, Part 195 - Transportation of Hazardous Liquids by Pipeline), are pipes through which hazardous liquids or gases move in transportation, including, but not limited to, line pipe, valves and other appurtenances connected to line pipe, such as pumping units, fabricated assemblies associated with pumping units, metering and delivery stations and fabricated assemblies therein, and breakout tanks.
