South Korea and Uzbekistan agreed to jointly work on oil exploration and trade.The accord was reached during a meeting between the two countries' presidents in Tashkent.Specifically,the leaders agreed in a 16-point declaration that South Korean firms would develop oil and gas prospects in the Aral Sea.The heads of Korea National Oil Corp.,Korea Resources Corp.and several other firms signed seven separate agreements and memorandums of understanding.
