HSE is UK REACH Competent Authority

UK Government has announced that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been asked to take on the role of the UK Competent Authority for Reach.The HSE will be providing a helpdesk to support UK businesses before the Regulations come into force.When fully operational,the Competent Authority will also monitor compliance,evaluate substances of concern and coordinate enforcement of the regulations in the UK.
